Owners (or their rental agents) must use the Property Management Information Form (PMIF) to notify the office of the arrival of all overnight visitors including owner’s family, accompanied guests, unaccompanied guests and renters.
If you are renting your unit, you must send the PMIF to the office two weeks prior to the start of the rental. All other overnight uses of your unit must be notified to the office on a PMIF at least 48 hours prior to the arrival of your guest or family member.
Owners must also notify the office of their own arrival in advance: owners may use email or the PMIF or any convenient method.
The PMIF can be completed on your computer. There are three ways to fill in and send a PMIF. Instructions for each method are below. Method 2 will be the most convenient for many people. People who are comfortable with their computer will find Method 3 the quickest and most convenient. Method 1 is the old fashioned “print out the form and fill it in with a pen and fax it” approach.
When the office has received your PMIF information, they will sign your PMIF to acknowledge it, and fax or email a copy back to you. You and the office must sign the form authorizing the use of your unit before you give it to your guest. Arriving residents will be asked for the form by the Patrol at the Kiosk; entry will be denied to people who do not have a proper PMIF and a corresponding piece of government-issued picture ID.
Method 1 – Fill in PMIF by hand

- Print the form using File|Print on the menu bar at the top of the screen.
- Complete the form using a pen.
- Sign and date the form.
- Fax the form to the office at (808) 879-4651; or scan the form and email it to the office.
- Receive the acknowledged form back from the office, by fax or email.
- Give it to your guest or renter and explain to him/her how to use it.
Method 2 – Fill in PMIF online

- Complete the form on your computer.
- Print the completed form by clicking the Print Form button near the signature block. Print a second copy if you want one for your records.
- Sign the form with a pen.
- Fax the form to the office at (808) 879-4651; or scan the form and email it to the office.
- Receive the acknowledged form back from the office, by fax or email.
- Give it to your guest or renter and explain to him/her how to use it.
Method 3 – Fill in PMIF on computer and email information to Wailea Point
Follow these directions carefully or it won’t work!
- Click this link to open a PMIF. The form will open in a new tab or window.
- Save the form to your Desktop (or other location) by using File|Save a Copy.
- Close the browser version of the form (PDFs cannot send email from a browser).
- Open the PMIF you just saved to your Desktop.
- Complete the form on your computer.
- If you want a copy of the form for your records, print one by clicking the Print Form button near the signature block.
- Click the “Email Form” button near the signature block. Your computer will produce an email to Wailea Point with a file attached to it containing all the form information.
- Send the email using your email program.
- Later, receive the acknowledged form back from the Wailea Point office, by email.
- Print out the PMIF and sign it. Give it to your guest or renter and explain to him/her how to use it.
